The fall shutdown is an important part of your irrigation maintenance service.
WHAT IS IT?
When we come to winterize your sprinkler system, we shut off the water supply. We then blow in compressed air to evacuate the water from the lines and sprinkler heads, ensuring that the lines won’t freeze over the winter.
WHEN DOES IT START?
We started our blow outs this year on Monday, October 1. Just like last year, you can schedule your appointment online. (Click the link to get to Sheridan Irrigation’s website, then click the yellow “Schedule Now” button on the left. If you haven’t already registered as a New User, you’ll need to do so before you can schedule an appointment – regardless of whether you’ve given us your email address in the past.)
If we don’t hear from you online, we’ll call you to set up an appointment. (If you haven’t heard from us by November 1 and don’t wish to schedule online, please give us a call at 781-585-0020.
We’ll come back in the spring for your sprinkler system start-up. At that time, we’ll turn your water supply back on and check all the components to your system for any damage that may have occurred during the winter months.
